ComicZen (“the App”) is an offline-first comic and ebook reader for iPhone and iPad.

Information We Collect

ComicZen does not require an account and does not operate a user-data backend for normal reading.

Library files you import (CBZ, CBR, PDF, EPUB, images, etc.) are stored on your device.
Reading progress, bookmarks, and settings are stored locally on your device.
We do not sell personal information.

Photos / Files access — used only so you can import books or change covers. Content stays on device unless you export it yourself.
Wi‑Fi Transfer — creates a local HTTP connection on your LAN so you can send files from another device you control. Traffic does not go through our servers.
WebDAV — connects only to a server address and credentials you provide (for example your own InfiniCLOUD / Nextcloud). We do not receive those files.
Face ID / PIN — optional lock for a private shelf. Biometric data is handled by iOS and is not accessible to the App.

ComicZen does not use third-party advertising SDKs and does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

The App is a general productivity / reading utility. Parents should supervise imports of any mature content.
